I took the following shot today, and have been working it over in Black & White. I am huge fan of Ansel Adam's work and have tried to emulate some of his style. How does this image work?

Works for me, nice contrast with that cloud shadow on the left and highlighted cloud on the right. I would like to see a large print.

very nice! I like the darkness of the shot. Where was it taken?

It is Mt. Timpanogous here in Utah valley, in Utah. I took it just outside of my workplace (and about a block away from my home in Provo) this afternoon.

Thanks for the feedback. I was curious if it worked well, or if it was too dark. I have played with filtering on B&W film, but they(filters) do not work with digital. I have been working on reproducing filter effects using Photoshop and have been quite pleased with what I have been able to do so far, and I was hoping others liked it as well.
