For those who asked, no, this

is not mine, but part of Mac OS X. salmiakki sports exactly the same one.

Here's mine, this photo has been on for a while but I change it quite frequently! Not a big fan of loads of icons all over either.

I don't like icons :)

Mine is always unorganized. I need to clean up a little.

I know shouldn't store things on my desktop, but it's just so easy.

This would be much more interesting to see first the computer desktop, then the reality LOL. I'm sloppy, but happy. The image is from a few days ago, I put up a fresh one about every week.

Been using this one for a good bit. It might be time for a change.

OK, so I know what I was doing wrong. I was using the numbers on the number keypad and not on the actual keyboard. Good to know it's only a dumb user nothing else.

Yes, I know it is cmd shift 3 (or 4 if you want to select a specific area), but the functions are not working on my machine and I am concerned I may have disabled something in my system preferences or ... I have used this before no problem, but this is not working right now. ETA. The machine just beeps at me when I try it!

Any mac users out there who can help me? I have used command shift 3/4 many times before to capture screen shots, but for reasons totally unknown to me, none of these keyboard options seem to be working on my iMac. I can't use the keyboard options either for the Grab functions (shift cmd a). I suspect it's me rather than the machine, but if anybody has a clue what I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate your thoughts.....

Busy, but organized. A place for everything, and everything in its place.

The picture is of one of my dogs, the desktop is "messy"!! :)

Semi-organized. I try to keep applications on the left, folder shortcuts on the right, and files I'm working with along the bottom. The extra image with the black space at the bottom is from is from a dual monittor setup, but with different sized monitors, it looks kind of weird.
