I guess that Getty's 49 buck web image thing isn't going over with investors either

Still, it seems that while micro is eating into macro, macro still lives...

The analyst now expects adjusted earnings of $2.04 per share for 2008 on $845.2 million in revenue.

I don't know enough about Getty to know if they earn revenue from other streams.

The kicker here is whether they expand their market by lowering their prices or not. More small designers and companies will be able to afford their images. How many more images will they sell as a result? Guess we'll find out ;)

it is pretty interesting to see how the market develops. There is defiantly a lot of new players now that micro exists, however the new players are both on the sellers and the buyers side.
