Hello! :)

I entered this photo a while back into the Shadow challenge:

Nosferatu

I recently discovered Threadless (a t-shirt design website for those who don't know about it) and decided to translate that photo into a t-shirt, since it was quite a graphic design in the first place. I submitted it, and it's been accepted to be in the running for being printed, which means people can now vote and comment!

I would be really grateful if anyone who wants to could vote on it and maybe leave a comments :)

They encourage people to share this link so I'm not cheating or anything! Does anyone else have any designs on Threadless? Any success from them?

There are some amazing artists on there, and the quality of t-shirts they print is great. My housemate at uni buys from there a lot! Have a browse around too - you may find inspiration for a photo! :)

Looks great! Threadless is a great site -- it's good to see some submissions from DPC.

I recently had a design for a Threadless shirt that I submitted but for some reason it said "Pending Approval" for several days and then disappeared. Let me know if you're willing to take a quick look at the file I submitted to see if it does not meet their submission guidelines - I thought it did!

Thanks,
Lee

lol nice

Not sure why they'd decline it. It has less than 5 unique colours, fits the size and dimension requirements, hmm. Did you not get an email? Try tweaking it a bit and resubmitting? (they don't like the same submission twice)

Threadless!!!!
I actually learned about DPC through a link someone posted in a forum thing on Threadless.

Tranquil: It's been a while since I've been active there, but when I was there, they started this thing where they would turn down submissions that didn't meet quality standards - i.e. they wouldn't let the entries even go into the voting phase. Harsh, but from what I remember there were a ton of crappy crappy entries clogging up things. IF this is the case with yours, I think it would be because of the background - it might remind some people of Paint which is the absolute worse over there.

Oh also:
Really really REALLY great work translating the photo into a shirt design.

Thanks :)

Hmm maybe that is it, but I've seen worse on there...
I have a couple more in the pipeline, so I'll let you know what happens with them!

That's RAD! :)

I submitted a few, but I am really upset that this one never got in. I think it's too cute for them!?! I dunno

Cute :)
By looking at a lot of the winners it does seem them prefer really complex drawings though, or really unique concepts.
