If you are asked to submit your image for DQ determination how do you do that? Does the efif information go right along with the original? I have PIE for my own use but I wouldn't have a clue as to how to send that information.

The EXIF is part of the original so it will automatically be sent with the file :)

Thanks. I thought so but then I began to think and that is always a dangerous thing.

You also may shoot in RAW format and send that file. It contains all the information about that pic. Impossible to cheat with that format.

I shoot in RAW and the files are like 9 Mo. How do we send those files. Does DPChallenge stup a FTP for you to upload the file(s)?

Not that I may be asked to but just to know ;)
Thanks :)

There is a web-based form to upload your original which you gain access to if your original is requested, much like the form you use to submit a normal entry.

For RAW mode submissions, do you prefer the full RAW file, or will the extracted JPEG do ?

Bumpidy, bumpity, bump bump bump

I've asked this question at least twice before. Never got an answer, though...

If you get asked to submit proof, the instructions are included in the request. You will be asked to upload your original unmodified image.

"...your original unmodified image" may refer to the RAW or the opened tiff/ jpeg file.

My tiff files are around 12mb, the RAW, 9mb. As I'm on a dial-up modem, I'd like to know if I can send a zipped RAW file. The last DQ request I had saw me uploading a 12mb tiff - very painful.
