is it just me or did anyone else notice that 99.99% of the shots in bokeh are either flower,bug or both? I'm not upset about it but i am trying to comment on all shots in this challenge and i am starting to run out of things to say....I don't want to take that cut and paste route like i have seen some people do but its getting tempting.
NO NO i wont do it, if i am gonna get a sparkly ribbon from judi i want to EARN it!

Well you gave me nice comment and good score. So I feel I am not in the list. But my entry is very mundane subject, I thought I will see lot of them. (In fact I have seen 2 -3 of them).

| yeah i am really getting sick of all the bugs...and mine isn't a bug and it is getting KILLED with the score and has no comments to explain the crappy score....i am frustrated. :) |

| No, but I'm getting a little weary of the cheesy photoshop filters in a couple of the other challenges. |

OMG Claire dont even get me started about my score...frustrating indeed, i think its because i dont have "circles of light"...whatever

Don't say it. I am sick of seeing those circles of light in bokeh challenge.

hahaha awwww thanks....i am sad because i had 8 6+ scores in a row and now im going to end up with three 5.somethings in a row after that....sigh... |

Blame me for the all the bug shots in bokeh ;)
My last two bokeh entries have been bugs too LOL. It's a challenge which gives a good excuse to go out and shoot macro! One can get tired of constantly shooting still life :P and I don't do potraits or landscapes that much.

Well, I tried. I really wanted a shot of corn (to title "A-maize-ing Bokeh), but they had no bokeh at all. I thought of "Bokeh Burger" on Monday, when all the fast food places were closed for Labor Day. I tried shots of stone walls, maple trees, ducks, and took 20 or 30 of crabapples at sunset (some of which had lots of circles of light, too). But they all just didn't look very good as photos. I even tried a couple shots for Power, but they really sucked.
So what did I submit? A bug on a flower. I actually had 3 others I considered - 2 of which had a bug and at least 1 flower. Sorry. But it's my #3 best score so far, and closing in on #2. lol |

| I purposely entered something that wasn't a bug or a flower because I knew that everyone else would and I wanted to be different. I also purposely entered one with the little circles of light since it seemed like some people would be looking for them. I THOUGHT I had a pretty decent picture, but it's currently sitting at about 5.3. I should have just gone for the bug or the flower. I've taken some great bokeh shots of those things in the past. |

i think its better to think out of the box and get a bad score...easy for me to say huh? |
