I liked your comment on my free study. (you can see which one I am talking about when the voting is over).
You pointed me out a problem about it, and I agree with you. I knew it even before I entered it, but decided to keep it. Why because without that I would have scored at least 1 whole point below. And I figured out that majority of people would not complain and vote on over all feel.
You comment pointed that out. (though the reason you pointed was all wrong. Not your fault, how would you know what the photog has done). But I liked that your comment was balanced. Thank you. |

Oh I'm not bitter. There wasn't anything wrong with your comment. You didn't get it but that's fine. It's doing better than I thought anyway. Just giving you a hard time.

| Your comment on mine was spot-on, Oliver - danke. It dealt with an issue I didn't really have the means to "correct" and that nearly made me not enter the challenge because of. But since score is just a number and I've nothing to protect (average, reputation, etc), I went ahead and threw it in there because in my meager mind, it was kinda sorta original. The design aspect of it needs a pretty major overhaul, though. |

I thought about this overnight and re-read your comments on my image with fresh eyes this morning. Part of what you said was helpful, so I marked your comment "helpful". Part of your comment was an unnecessary insult. After the challenge, everyone will be able to see what I'm talking about. I did not report the comment because it broke no rules. Just isn't necessary to provoke and taunt. Had no connection with constructive criticism to say what you said. I understand you might come from a different culture. Fair enough! Doesn't usually work to be rude in any culture.
The "consider the source" was you! And, I always consider the source on comments which are a bit odd.

I am waiting for this challenge to over and then i will start two threads, one with title my most underrated entry and second titled to all DNMC mongers - apologize .
These threads are more fun than the actual challenge.

Actually I was planning to open a thread especially for Eyewave to advise me what I did wrong with my entry. All in a good constructive way ofcourse. The comments aren't helping much and I really want to know. It seems the photo is good, but I didn't turn it into a proper motivational poster.
