Well, the calendar on his site says he was out all this week, have a 4 day break, and then he's pretty much booked for the next month and most of that in India and Nepal.

Might have to wait a bit, patience is a virtue ;)

You are correct sir. That 4 day period is launching time and what a time it has been.

It is complete, check out all the details here!

//tutorial.joeyL.com

And we can continue talking about it in this new thread-

I've had the good fortune of seeing it, through highly placed and confidential sources.

It rocks...

It rocks indeed :]

I was hoping you'd come out with another one. I too missed out on the first (planned on ordering it, even inquired, but had family things to deal with & got sidetracked). Count me in too!!!!!!

Joey, you should really start posting on flickr too, DPC is cool and all, but they have such huge user base that you'll automatically get exponentially more sales than you do here.

If you tag your images, it also gets you a lot of exposure. More and more graphic designers and Ad agencies are looking to flickr to find just the right photographer for the job.

I used to have a Flickr account but then deleted it, I was thinking of uploading my new stuff to it as well as getting a deviantart account. The only problem is (and the same with DPC) is a lot of the images I take for magazines or label promos don't like me posting the images on photo-sharing sites like that, which is why you'll find a lot more work on my personal website.

Joey - I'm in, too. I'm looking forward to it. The first one was good, but this one sounds even better. I like idea of more images - the more the better, I think... even if they use the same processing techniques. That way, you can show how the techniques can be used in different images, and different ways.

Yep I have the same reasoning, the same techniques work in unique ways depending on the picture

Put me down for a package deal too. I bought the older one and thought it was great. I'm sure I'll be happy with the new one too.

As for technique requests, I just want to know the best way to get the over all blue hue (or any solid color) look to alot of your images yet balanced well with skin tones such as in these pics:

I always screw it up when I try. If that is not covered, I'd like that in.

Other than that, just rock on with your bad self. I'm lookin' forward to it.

Cool idea! I'll do it

Awesome! And as for price, I don't care what it is, put me down. I'm sure it will be reasonable for the information it teaches. :-)

I'll be waiting for the thread where we can order! I got your first video & was very happy with it. You do a great job at going thru everything step by step.

Just a guess but I think there might be an announcement in this thread. Hopefully? i.e. This getting set to watched because I have been really wanting to get Joey's DVD. If taking pictures of rock bands, magazine covers and touring the world ever gets boring you can always sell instructional videos. Lol

I seriously doubt that Joey will be going through this thread to see who indicated they wanted one.

I suspect he'll post something to say it's ready for order and then it will be up to us to order one.

Jesus, the guy can now use this thread as the worlds largest hype monkey for his DVD.

He shouldn't say anything about it. it should jsut be a webpage with a picture of the cover, a link to this thread, and an order button. No text other then the link.

Joey... please, if at all possible, add me to the list for your new DVD. I am sorry to say that I didn't have the opportunity to see the last disk but after reading all the kudos given to it from those who have utilized it... I would definitely like a copy of the new one.

Thank you!

Some of Joey's techniques don't translate well in Elements, last time I checked layer masks were non-existent in Elements, so you're really going to be hurting on that end. I'm also not sure about channel mixer and selective colors in layers, I might download PSE trial and check out what version 5 has.
