| FWIW, she was on a TV show (Today, or something like that) and basically admitted, that yes, she screwed the answer up, and if she was given the chance to re-answer it, she would better explain that she can find it, everyone she knows can find it, so IF the stat is correct, then maybe geography really ought to be a bit more important in education. (Note -- that is a paraphrase. I'm not in the mood to go find the interview) |

In all honesty, this is how it went down.
She has been coached so much that she basically been told not to think, but to just react to questions. She knew answers for the "war in Iraq" "the starving in Africa" and how the "US should play a part in world peace". If her brain was on she would not have freaked out, and she probably would have had something profound to say. When she was asked a question that was not already prepped and rehearsed, she was pulling phrases from all of her coached answers and when they didn't sound right she just kept spewing out answers. It actually isn't her fault. But it is funny...:) |

The coverage on this is a bunch of nonsense.
She obviously was not listening to the question and had no idea what it was. Instead of saying "can you repeat that please", it seems she started blurting out parts of EVERYTHING she was coached on.
