Okay...

Ursula was complaining in this thread, Fill Your Scores Here..., about mediocre scores.

You guys should come up with a side-challenge for the best mediocre image.

So here is the challenge for 'Fill Your Frame III'...You have to try and end up with the score closes to the nominated score here. And the score for this week's challenge is.....(drum roll, please!!)....5.5648

Basically there are rules...

AIM - To not be dragged down over a mediocre score...but instead to have a bit of fun with it. You can't change the score...but you can change how it makes you feel.

1 - You need to nominate yourself within 24 hours of the start of voting. You don't have to post your score in this thread...but it is encouraged.

2 - It is encouraged to trash talk....just as you would in a normal score thread.

3 - The one with the score closest to the nominated score (see score above) at the end of voting wins. The organiser will contact the winner to notify them of their win and what they are to do next.

4 - The winner determines what everyone else has to use in their next shot. This WILL include options to suit all abilities/tastes/locations. And it DOES NOT include aiming to shoot for brown or to make any particular entry/s stand out to be noticeably part of this challenge.

5 - The 'punishment' is then determined, by the organiser, whether it is suitable ...after which it is then PM'ed to all members who stood up to the challenge and all members must keep the punishment to themselves to prevent the rest of the site members in being able to identify the images in the next weeks challenges.

Once you are in, that's it. You stay in.....hehehehe!!

Well, I think I can manage boring and mediocre. I am, after all, the Queen of the middling mediocratic mass :P

ETA going to have to work on that score though ..... just gone down to 5.2727.

Cool...we have our first two contenders. I will state that I am not entering this weeks challenge due to my score. I am doing this for everyone else. I hope that is okay with everyone?

I'm in - prediction: 4.2741 the same score as another entry I thought might do well.

Okay..you don't have to worry about predictions...but instead post your current score. The one who finishes closest to the chosen score is the winner.

oh...sorry, out my league then. I'm not a 5er. I thought it was player calling one's self out and the closest one would win. I can follow along though.

Are you suggesting that 5.56 is a bad score. I would love to have this score. I'm currently going to come last on this Fill the frame.

Oh rats! This is PERFECT for me, but I didn't enter anything. I may play along if we do it for the open challenges, though. 'Cept I think the best I'm gonna do in that one is a rousing 5.2. And that's only if I get off my butt and re-edit the thing, and get it submitted in time.
