I might need to bow out. Hubby just called home - the car won't start. He's stuck at work.

Yep, I'm out. The starter is toast on the car, and won't be getting fixed until at least Tuesday of next week.
I'm totally bummed :(

ok, so it's ernie and me, and louis (maybe)? i'll pm you both my 'phone number, as i'm going to bed very soon - i have to leave the house at 4:00 to get to the airport tomorrow, so if you could give me a call and let me know what's up, that'd be nice!
i hope to see some DPCers on saturday!

Well folks, bad news. I will not be there either. :( :(
I have a personal crisis to deal with that leaves me unable to attend. I will be phoning xianart to let her know.
I apologize profusely as I really wanted this to happen. Unfortunately I have an issue involving my best friend and my very recent ex gf to deal with. (use your imagination)

hey, if anyone tried my cell last night, and left a message, i can't get messages here for some reason. so, if you want to try again - i have my phone with me all day, and no wedding stuff until tonight, so i'll even answer it!
i guess i'll go to the island anyway, even if no-one else is - it looks an interesting place...

I hope you enjoy your foray xianart - I'm very sorry that I'm not able to make it into TO for this.
BUT - if anyone is around, I'm hoping (and praying to the car gods) to go to the Henry's Photographic and Digital Imaging show next weekend at the International Centre

i had a lovely wander around the islands, took some super shots. i managed to go to the least urban area with the most water in toronto, i guess.. hmm.
david, were you there? i was thrilled, i was on the ferry, it docked at exactly 12, then realised i was on the wrong island. duhn. i went to wards island -just got on the first ferry that arrived. didn't think to check a map, or anything sensible like that. so, if you were there, and waited, i do apologise.
i hope everyone had a super long weekend, though. the wedding was super, shot a whole whack of images for my friend, she's very happy and will recommend me to her clients if they have business in nova scotia. and, of course, the partying was fab. |

| No, I was working, or I would have been...it is a great spot, I love the Toronto Islands. You never managed to meet up with the rest of the crew? Centre Island is only a half-hour's hike from Ward's. |

i did get to centreisland, but shot my way there through about 150 files on the way...
dave, you were the olny one left, i think, after all the slackers ducked out... |
