I was pleasantly surprised with the score on my POV photo. And to think, I almost didn't submit anything for this challenge. I honestly didn't believe it would score within the top 100! Hmm... just goes to show that sometimes we are our own worst critics.
Which leads me to a question. Do you vacillate over which photo to submit? Do you go back and forth, sometimes for days trying to decide between two, three or four different shots? Do you sometimes feel like you have no idea whether or not your photo is any good at all? I generally know what I like when I see it in someone else's shot, but I am lost when it comes to judging my own work.

I find the longer I look at any photo I take the more I hate it. I find it's best just to throw one up and be done with it.
The day I take a photo I'm completely pleased with I'll probably drop dead from surprise. |

| Wonderful photo..... deserves it's placing...maybe higher.....lol....In answer to your question..... everyone feels the same way....back and forth.....back and forth.....lol....sometimes you know it is good....but you never know what THEY.....think......(it is what YOU think.. is what really counts...stay positive...believe in yourself... way to go....you've done well |

Maybe this is part of the challenge? Procrastination is indeed a common behaviour with what one reveals to the public eye.
I think it might be even stronger with digital photography, where shooting is free of post-processing time and costs, you end up with thousands of photos a year...
So it might be good to challenge oneself to contemplate longer and make fewer shots... got to apply it to myself sometime...

Challenges are always very difficult to be understood. We always think our photo is the best. I never vacillate on the photo I am uploading as I usually think it is the best I could ever take for such a theme.
I also can understand if a photo will be good in the same moment I am taking it. |
