Don't forget to turn on the captions if you want the background story to each slide.

Well deserved Pulitzer.

It's no shame to cry over this, powerful story, as emotional images as can be, beautiful images inbetween filled with joy and sadness. More impact with the captions turned on.

If you are healthy, have healthy family and are depressed I think this is good for you, it makes us thankful.

No matter what version one watches, it still eats at your heart, but the ending is always the same.....
I am sure this will have a lasting impression on me, for the rest of my life.
I feel totally blessed with who I am, and so lucky to have had the wonderful life that I have had.
I love my family and friends, including you all here at DPC.

This truely makes one realize how precious life is..... "Today is the best day of your life, enjoy, and make the most of it".....

I have no right to bitch about my petty little problems when confronted with this...

I am numb with tears running down my face....

with me being so young I didnt really think I would be affected so by this. But i am. Tears were running down my face as I watched the final pictures come up. Such a strong mother to stay by his side through it all. #18 and #19 were just so heartbreaking to say the least.
Wow, makes you think.

i cried even though I tried so so hard not to cry at work. I'm still crying. I don't know what to say except that I'm grateful people care enough to share these sorts of stories and keep life real for all of us.

Powerful photographs. I can't help but think how remarkable it is that Byer was able to get these photos that somehow don't seem intrusive -- almost as if she were invisible.
