Just picked him up yesterday. His name is Ares and is 4 years old. He reminds me a lot of myself.

I love boxers, they are great dogs! My family used to have a boxer kennel, with 2 males and 8 females.
We would usually have 3-4 litters ready for Christmas every year, and once one dog would go into labor they all would, which meant you got no sleep that night due to having to birth 30+ puppies in one night... However there is nothing funnier (nor scarier) than 30+ 6 week old boxer puppies running rampant around the house.
We also raised Dachshunds, Yorkshire terriers and Germen Shepherds...

Coincidentally, I was just going to post "Got new boxers for my dog"
...seems pointless and redundant now though.

You could not have chosen a better breed. There may be some as good but none better. My Oliver has passed away but I still have his son, Sonny (of course). They are great companions and love people. Yours is very hansome.

Here's my girl Lola.
The eternal puppy of the dog world is right. That's what I love about this breed is that they are always goofy. Always want to play. I hope you enjoy Ares very much.

Boxers are great dogs! He's a good looking one & I'd bet has the heart of a prince. Congrats.

| My favorite dog I've ever had was a boxer. Her name was Babydoll and she was such a sweetie. She grew up with my daughters (I think she thought she was just one of the girls). They would dress her up, put sunglasses on her and who knows what. They are so good with children. Enjoy! |
