A happy banana.......Hmmm...

I think I'll leave that'un alone!

There's apparently one of my Team Suck cohorts hovering around 6.9 as well.......sigh.......

I'll just be thrillled if I finish out this week with the two 6+ entries I have now.

That's an all time record for me!

Well, I missed the 100 - happened over night, but my shot (or rather my processing) must look better in a dark room. My score has gone up.

Although I do find it interesting that at least 2 commenters believe I can control the clouds - anyone else get comments that they should have more or fewer clouds?

But as for the rest of you in this challenge - I went and revoted my urban scores yesterday - about 15 of them went up. So today, I will be doing that here. lol And any I seee as "just as good" as mine will get a 6 now (unless my score takes a dive). lmao

Since my score is highly unlikey to change much after 110 votes, I'm shooting for the "No Comments" Ribbon!!

I'll take the no comments as a sign the shot is just perfect as it is - no changes needed! LOL

As someone who generally gets few or no comments, I generally view that as a sign of a massive outbreak of apathy......8>)

For the first time in a long time, I've gotten 16 comments in a challenge, all good, so I'm thinking that kinda justifies my hare-brained theory!

Thank you hazelmay........I'm still holding at that 4.3ish mark.....oh well... I like the pic...I too looked at your profile, I love the 'dogs'

What...just a banana....????? Mate...you need the Dancing Elephant to make a statement here!!!

I had hoped you had quietly slipped into oblivion up there...

Don't step on my banana!

Haven't seen Alex Saberi post his score. He's got the most banana worthy shot in the challenge, or one of the other banana braggarts totally ripped him off!

Nope, no ripoff. Different animal, different place...I think.

PLEASE, please, please.......don't go to the "all ending" assumption that you are not a "good photographer"! PLEASE!

I don't know which shot is yours and I haven't voted in that challenge as I don't vote in challenges that I'm entered in (I don't want to vote unobjectively) but, THAT is the very thing that I hope people won't walk away from this site feeling......they are "bad photographers". A "low" score in here does NOT mean that you are not a good photographer at all!

Take a look at this discussion thread.....follow it through from start to finish and I think that you'll find out why I am saying this!!!

DEAL?

Here's the link.........CLICK HERE!

The only thing that will make you npot be a good photographer is if *YOU* convince yourself that you're not.

DPC voters will not do that.

There are professionals that get spanked here and make money from what they do elsewhere.

There are also people who do really well here that certainly don't make their living from this, either.

According to the state of Pennsylvania, my gallery, a few publications, and some of the people I know, I'm a professional......according to my 1040, I'm *NOT*!!! LOL!!!

Thank you Dassilem.

And thank you PhotoInterest for the link. To me this site is a fun way to try to better my artistic skills with my new camera. The competition is with myself. Also, I'm on medical leave from work, and it gets me up and out of the house and gets my mind on other things!

I agree with PhotoInterest - I won't vote in challenges that I have entered anymore. But there are definitely some Rural's that I would give 10's to! (Sorry all you 10's out there!)

You damn well should be able to. If you don't have the proper weather control hardware to enter challenges such as these, then don't even bother.

photointerestThanks for the link.....I really didn't mean to sound as negative as I did.....I LOVE DPC...but I barely can get a 5.....I do well in my local Camera club. and I Love getting ideas from the community and trying to learn from them.

Thank for the kind words of encouragement.
still holding at 4.4...but some comments have been wonderful which gives me hope.

I fully agree. No great photographer goes without the Weather Adjuster 2900. If you do, then you might as well expect a low score.

I'm still hanging in with a decent score. Not good enough for top 3 placement, but maybe top 25?

"Yes, we have no Bananas" here either. But I'm still pretty happy with where my score stands.

I'm with you ShutterPug. Not expecting a ribbon but a top 20 or 25 would be great.
