I havent had any in years, what is the solution. What percentage of your weekly food intake is from fast food chains? Just curious.

100%. 99% if you don't consider ordering pizza to be fast food.

It all depends from person to person. For around 1.5 years (around year 2004), I ate in McDonalds for around 20 days in a month (without getting bored). I did not gain any weight and I am healthy as usual.
(now since my wife cook for me, I do not have to eat in McD :-) ).

September 12th 2004 was the last time I've had a bite of fastfood, and going on 15 months as a vegetarian. Never missed either, never felt better and my kids have even been able to stop taking their ADD meds.

It is actually pretty rare for me to eat fast food because without a car it isn't very convenient and even when I do it is more things like sub sandwiches.

Last month I was in the mood for a burger so I went to Burger king (we don't have McDonalds here unless you go out in town then you have to have Yen or a credit card) and it felt like a ton of greese in my belly all day. I have never ever like McDonalds burgers, they always seem just plain and tasteless to me...now their ketchup is a different story...I love their ketchup.

on the vegeterian thing...when my first wife's younger sister was about 8 she learned where burgers came from and decided she never wanted it again. She was ok with chicken nuggets for a long time cause her family told her it was just the name, not really chicken. When she found out the truth she refused that too. Many years later I still don't think she will eat meat...me, I couldn't live without at least a good steak, medium rare of course ;) damn now I'm hungry.

Fast Food Map

Heres a map of the world according to fast food consumption. I expected to see the US pretty inflated, but that purple island is Japan, and the UK not too far behind

that's the map for McDonalds outlets alone.

I was wondering where this question came from.. but now I see it's the new challenge, haha!

We eat fast food once in a month. Most of the time because we don't feel like cooking :P

Yeah, and also those in the healthcare system, I mean with all the people that will be in a better shape, no need for so many doctors.

Thank you ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', '/') + 1) . ' biteme, I didn't realize it was the new challenge :)

I have a little sticker that says, "If we are what we eat, then I'm fast, cheap, and easy."

We used to eat fast food a couple of times a week before Byron died, but since then, I could probably count on one hand the times I've actually cooked. We go out to eat 90% of the time. Not typically fast food, but local restaurants or sometimes pizza. We do try to make healthier menu choices, and I am lucky the boys love vegetables more than french fries. I really do need to start cooking more often but I just can't seem to motivate myself to do so.

Guess I'll have to take the camera with me a few days this week and see what I can capture! ;)
