Is anyone finding it hard to vote higher than a 5 in this challenge? I voted on a few, and can't bring myself to vote on anymore. The stretch some have made is unbelievable. I'm sorry, but I don't have the heart to vote on anymore of these. Anyone else having this problem?

i have that problem too, don't worry.

take this for example.

i was voting on the rolling stone challenge, and if i have to see another image called "dead flowers" or "paint it black," i'm just gonna scream. (not bashing on those that did name them that, because some of them are pretty darn good)

I'll admit my entry for this is a HUGE stretch at best and I know it (but it still seems to be doing good hehe). With that said, I would have to agree with you. There are a lot of images that have absolutely nothing to do with triumph even with their titles.

Triumph is a tough challenge to conceptualize. (where is SCalvert when you need him?). Thus the very low entries. Not alot of challenges are held under 100 entries these days.

I believe that some voters have no idea. 1 of my comments said that they could not see the connection yet the other 5 all said that it was a good message.

I don't find most of the entries that far off the mark. The challenge description says "triumph or success", and while relatively few of the entries seem "triumphant" in any really visceral way (as strangeghost said, that's hard to do), an awful lot of them do represent "success" at one level or another. I enjoyed voting the challenge, and found at least an average number of what I think are really excellent entries.

Haha, I'm sure mine wasn't one of them. :)

I agree with Robert. I voted on all of the images and by using the premise of Success, I voted higher than my current vote average. I did give extra credit to those that captured triumph well.

I have commented on this in a another thread.
Let be honest there is no way in hell the winner should have got a ribbon, it does not meet the challenge
