I bought it 2 months ago and i took some cool pictures with it!It's iso100, 1/500 shutter speed, 4.1 mp, carl zeis lens, sony ccd...
Now my question is:Should I buy another one(taking in consideration the fact that i'm just a biginer) or should I stick to it?

Here is what I have come to find.
I have a good camera but I don't always fair well in the challenges. I think any camera is good to start with. One of the most important things to work on is the composition of your photos. It doesn't matter what camera you have, if your photo can't tell the story you wanted to show. What I mean is when you see your photo, you should fell the joy,sadness,importance,etc.. of the subject/image you producted. A average camera can product a better photo in the right hands. The hands of one that know all the feature of your camera and how to use them to there full potiental.

I second Musicmans comment:
Work with your current camera until you get to the point that people start to give your submissions mainly positive comments regarding the composition and content, but negative about technical aspects, e.g. "Wonderfull work, would have loved it to have a narrower DOF and being less grainy".
If those comments take overhand, it might be time for a new camera.
But there is (at least at DPC) no direct link between the camera and its features and a garanty to get high votes. The content and composition (especially about the right light) makes the deal.

My first 3 challenge entried were done with a ls443, ur camera is much much better than it.
I am a beginner also, I am very glad I changed over, but already knew the exact features I needed, and knew that for wht I wanted to do, what I had couldn't.
but so far all the entries I put in with the 300D that I couldna done i=on the ls443 arn;t scoring any better (actually worse, my coin was not as good as the food, and my current entry is looking to be my worst entry via points)

learn how cameras and lenses work, and then you'll be able to tell if u need a better camera for what you want to do.

remember, a good photo needs a lot more than just a good camera ;)
