They were following a police chase and crashed into each other. It was Channel 3 news and Channel 15 news.

Yeah okay everyone just pulls out there camera and takes pictures before during and after the colision. If there are any pics it will be nothing but junk laying on the ground.

How tragic. Just goes to show how frenzied the environment has become to get the first story or the first picture.

Nope no pics and I wouldn't want to have taken these. I saw it on TV. Nothing but flames. I feel bad for the newscrews.

This tragedy could have been so much worse. The choppers went down right in the middle of Phoenix. They crashed in a park. If they crashed 2 hundred yards in any other direction they would have landed in traffic.

God rest their souls.

I have often wondered when watching those police shows how those helicopters can fly so close together. Sometimes you see the vehicle that they are chasingand filming and then another helicopter flys between the one filming and the car. I found that really scary for the ones involved.

Looks like the guy that stole the truck is going to be held criminally liable for the death of the news media crews.

A guy I work with was downtown when it happened. He was waiting for a valet to bring him his car after lunch when he looked up and actually saw the mid air collision. He said it was horrific.
