Hey Everyone,

I'm headed to Las Cruces next week for my Daughters softball tournament. Anything cool to shoot pics of out there ?

Not sure about shooting there (haven't been there except driving through), but there's an exhibit at the museum of Ansel Adams' work. I hope to drive down and see it before it's over.

If I remember correctly from driving through (over a year ago), you should be about 45 minutes or so from White Sands National Monument:



Beautiful place, best to photograph around sunrise or sunet.

White Sands is pretty cool early or late in the day. It's probably hotter than crap now tho. I was there in Feb. '06. Gila Cliff dwellings is not too far either and has some opportunities.

Looks like it's gonna be around 90 degrees with possible t-storms. Not super bad. Thanks everyone.

Also, if you by chance like rockets, the White Sands Missile Range Museum is pretty cool to see some missles up close. It's right on the way, about 15 minutes before you get to the actual White Sands National Monument.
