Another old shot of mine with intentional blur. I can't wait to go out looking for more of these.

We're posting?

Here's one I took at the pub. The musician was getting back on stage and turned his head, which created a light trail off of his bald scalp.

I can not speak for anyone else, but I am posting some old blur photos and looking at others images to get myself psyched for the true start of this challenge. Once August 1 rolls around, I will post all new stuff shot especially for this challenge.

And I am just waiting patiently like a good boy, following instructions to the letter as is my wont :-)

I hope we will start a new thread for this side challenge on August 1st... I'd like to see it lean and clean from the get-go...

IMO
I think it should be created a "Bourgeois Site Council" for choosing the best pictures that worth a view.
And two threads:
- One for posting pictures (where people can post and discuss everything)
- another for the selected pictures by the "Bourgeois Site Council" (where people can give support to the chosen ones)

Other way it'll be a mess, full of noise, and I'm afraid this thread will turn into... I hope not!

ETA:
- What is the "Bourgeois Site Council"?
The "Bourgeois Site Council" should be a group of 6-10 with knowledge and sensibility to pick good photographic works. Each one will have the power to decide (alone) the photos deserving to be posted in the "Bourgeois Site Council Selection"
- Who'll chose the people for this "Site Council"?
Goodman ;)

shouldn't it be called the anti-bourgeoise site council?
since the whole start of this thread was anti-bourgeoise refering to the "sharpness" representing them the upper higher class stuck up photo snobs?

I'll just retain my position as chief heckler.

Personally I think I may opt out then. the last thing I need is try to post a shot everyday just to have some random people (who are apparently better than me) decide which of my shots should even be discussed. my shit gets overlooked enough as it is. Instead of shooting for myslef or what i like i will have to shoot what I think those few select people like which I may not.

I think they are saying there will be a main thread and a select thread. The main thread would be like any other 30 day project - post, get comments, etc. The select thread, you can just set to "ignore", which is what I will probably do as well.
