I find this concept to be interesting. I might consider doing this. I have never tried to create blurred images, they just come out that way. Should I have some drinks before I take the pics? The swaying might just give me the effect I need.
So does this include applying blur, such as radial blur, zoom blur, gaussian blur, or do we try to take blurry images, which is a technique in itself.

for those coming in late and not starting from the start ... the side challenge doesn't "officially" start until August 1st - but keep the examples coming, they're great.

Here's my contribution. Taken yesterday for the 50 Day Challenge. Didn't use it because I blew the motion blur, I thought. Maybe I was wrong... ;P

This is not my photo, but one that I voted a 10 on in the Natural Light Portrait. It was the photographers first challenge entry and I am going to send her a PM and invite her to join this side challenge.

This is one I took last year, which has been in my portfolio for awhile. It was a morning glory that I started at an aperture of around 6.5, then zoomed the lens to about a 14 or 15. I believe it was around a 1 sec exposure and I used a neutral density filter to allow me to take a long exposure without getting too much light. I often do that. Put on a darkening filter in order to take longer exposures, such as of water and stuff.

Practice shot...

Well I did it, I bought a lensbaby. This is one of my first efforts with it. I'm not finding the focusing too easy - I struggle with manual focus at the best of times.

This is a photo I took a few weeks ago in one of my rare attempts at zoom exposure. I like the way it came out, but I had to take quite a lot of photos to get one I like.

I seem to have left out my "most successful" and definitely intentionally blurry entry ...

Now that I re-read the original criteria, I guess I can be "in" -- I just don't have time for those "every day" type projects ...

Ursula's the name, I'm sorta blurry by nature :)
