Way too early for the challenge (and probably not basic editing either.)

Now with list that long - it seems like a total Free Study.

As inviting as this sounds, my Ya-Ya might get me banned from the site.

I've just been watching the "Gimme Shelter" documentary about the Stones free concert they gave in California in 1969.
On the Sundance Channel.
Not that it's going to help me at all, I just found it interesting.

All you canadians probably got happy when you saw the "Triumph" challenge thinking it was songs from the power trio. But, no one outside of Ottawa can remember what they look like, let alone a song from them.

Keno's List of Lyrics

Here's another link to lyrics. I'm stoked. I'll have to get on my Wild Horse, meet some Honkey Tonk Women, and we'll Paint it Black. ;~D

With the weather forcast for this weekend, I may have to do "Gimme Shelter"

I went through a bunch of lyrics lastnight and for a change I got dozens of ideas for this challenge. Now the trick is to pick one that no one else will pick. The Stones have something like 500 Songs. But I bet seeing more than 20 of them in this challenge would be a stretch.

yes, there might be a huge increase in the purchasing of black paint at hardware stores.

50 bucks and a trip to the seedy side of town and a C***sucker Blues entry is only a shutter click away. Pretty good timing given the concurrent Street Photography challenge eh? I recognize divine direction when I see it.

the song listings may have already been posted, but I figured why not add in the bands webpage for a link as well.

The Rolling Stones songs Challenge is especially for those who like to push the envelope and submit any photo they want no matter what the subject of the challenge. I think that a lot of us will agree that this is happening often in recent challenges (DNMC). The songs of the Stones are so numerous, you will be able to find at least one that will fit the photo you want to submit.

Need clarification here - Is it Rolling Stones the group, or Rolling Stones the magazine (which has a gazillion more song titles than the group)? The challenge details are definitely not clear.

Out of focus is a rolling Stone song.... ;)

The magazine is Rolling Stone (not plural), so I'd go with the group. But, hey, if you got a shot of Jann Wenner, go ahead and enter it! ;>P

Several of these song's aren't even the rolling stones, their covers that rollings stones did. I don't think Cover songs from live album's should count!

Cocksucker Blues

or a tribute to disgruntled voters

HA!

I think it would be easier to do a picture of the title of a song. Rather than the lyrics. I guess someone will have to listen to the song to understand the picture. Which in my mind, just takes too much time. good thing I listen to the Stones almost daily. :p

The songs I'm thinking of are

Anybody seen my baby?
Tattoo You
Jumpin Jack Flash

or an album title would work too..
