NG had a contest for readers photos here.
Also guidelines for submitting to NG Adventure.

I take a once in a life time opportunity to visit the Nazca lines, and of course, it was 2-weeks before the NG challenge!!! ARGHH!!!
On the bright side, the Cessna I was in was bouncing around so much in the 25mph winds that just about all my photos were off target. |

I find the quality of them usually much better than any other magazine. Their documentary feel appeal to me, especially if the author of the article also took the pictures.

I was wondering if titles might be extended a bit in this challenge. More along the lines of the comments on photos in the magazine than a title.
For example, a picture of coal miners walking into the elevator outside while it is still night would have the title; "Going to Work" or the comment; "Coal miners shifts start all around the clock since there is no day or night underground".
Would a long title/comment be appropriate or dismissed in this challenge? |
