| Since this is a narrative, that means the trolls are not acting independently. Someone or something is organizing them, and that can be the central mystery of the story. The SC-conspiracy is a suspect, but is probably just in collusion with the Real Enemy, much like the FBI in X-Files. |

and you can be some dorky wizard who makes weapons out of thin air (but before you give it away, make them go on a sub quest to collect the materials needed, like go online and visit www.dpchallenge.com and see who won the brown for Flower challenge in 2005, LOL!)

| I need to find a copy of Monkey Island, that game was the greatest. That and the Kings Quest series. I played them all when I was little. |

I would like to see some element of inspector parker in there :)
That would leave you a lot of puzzles open for the taking and a lot of dangerous pitfalls too (i.e. someone trying to kill the hero but make it look like an accident because they know he can beat them in the looming challenge)... then you can have something like lives that the player could lose and have a good reason for them to lose said life instead of just dropping them off a cliff or something LOL
BTW kat, I LOOOOVED Leisure Suit Larry!! My mom let me play it when I was about 12 hehe I don't like the new one but the old one kicked BUTT!!!!

| I remember my dad had LSL on the computer when we were younger, and the first thing you had to do was put in your birthday and then they would quiz you to determine if you were lying or not. |
