OK, that's me set. I arrive Heathrow the morning of the 7th, and will be at the St. Paul untli the morning of the 10th.

Works for me...I will be around all week (working) but looking forward to the GTG. Staying at Canary Island at the Marriot.

I assume weather will be great (as always!).

Okay, looks like I'll be back in the UK around September 5th. I just have to wait for my landlord's confirmation that there's furniture in my bedroom by that time.

Looks very likely that I will be there! Will confirm for sure in the week but at least now I feel confident enough to be able to say I can get there, which will be nice.

Um, I got confused by now as to where we meet and what time. As soon as I know I can book my bus tickets.

Since it was the most popular choice, we'll be meeting somewhere nearby to Regent's Park, with intention of going through the Little Venice region, but that's not final until I've sorted it out (I'll look into it today). As for the time, midday is probably easiest, giving the whole afternoon (should the weather hold) for wandering along canals...

Just a request to confirm the date. Looks like Sunday the 9th was the preference? I'll bring some dry, sunny weather from Atlanta for the GTG.

I'll arrive at the Elephant & Castle at 10.15am and leave at Victoria Coach Station at 10pm. I'm up for the zoo. I reckon the tube could get me to Regent's park for roughly 10.30.

The zoo opens at 10am - I was thinking about going there for 10am but would happily pass on my mobile details for anyone who wanted to join up with me then for a pre-GTG (including you, Gilles).

If the main GTG starts at around lunchtime, then will the main GTG kick off from a lunching venue and realistically move on after lunch?

Hi all, I won't be able to attend, but I was wondering if you could all maybe slip up to the Town of Pendle and snap a couple of shots of these

OK, I've found a potential place to meet up, but I've not got confirmation of booking yet, so will update again tomorrow. However, the general plan is to meet near Warwick Avenue tube station (on the Bakerloo line) at midday on Sunday.

Once we're done at the restaurant, it'll be a walk along the canals through to the north end of Regents Park. There, we'll have the choice of either going into the park itself (and maybe the Zoo too), or keep heading along the canals to Camden, whichever option is preferred when we get there!

As I said, final details of where we're meeting will be posted tomorrow.

Just FYI, may have a couple of others join us this Sunday...one local and the other a fellow colonist on extended stay in the city. Not DPCers but hopefully they'll enjoy the GTG.

The Meeting Place:

Warwick Castle pub (6 Warwick Place, W9 2PX) - map - nearest tube is Warwick Avenue on the Bakerloo line.

The Time:

12:30pm Sunday 9th, but I'll try to be there from midday to get enough seats for us all.

The Plan:

Walk from the pub via Little Venice, heading along the canal to either Regents Park or Camden.

I've also PM'd this to everyone who said they'd probably be coming, along with my mobile number.
