First off, I did vote and comment 99.99% of the challenge..(can't v/c your own) I tried to give a nice visual balance between a 'photo' and something that I believe to be science fiction without losing the base photo.

This was my top score choice. I felt, even though a touch flat, this image had a strong Base photo, and strong sci-fi feel. There was interest in the subject, and was very well done overall.

I found this image, extremely well done and very clean. My only issue, is preference, it would have been nice to have the tv on the other side, with her kinda looking down at it, but I also enjoy the V that is made with the antenna and model. (V old alien tv series)

This image is really quite fantastic, I love the editing style and the overall concept of the image. My only real fault with this image, is the spot the arm is coming out of the book, I would have liked to see that area more developed than just faded as it is.

There are lots of other really creative images, but these are my top picks, or highest rated.

@ Littleget:

Thank you! The V was exactly why I did it like this ;) There are 2 more V-lines in the photo by the way, hope you can find them :D

@ Leroy: thanks a lot :)

Don't need to thank me, it is a fantastic image and very well done, Another V I see, is the one created by her face/jaw-line, I will let someone else find the last 6-;

Tell the truth, I figured it would have placed, because it is so clean, and does have a strong photographic/sci-fi feel.

I'll go out on a limb here voice my opinions a little. I must say I was a little unhappy about the final placement of my photo but it's no big deal: I am always happy for the chance to experiment.

- The top 3 photos I gave 10's to and I think they are totally photographic looking as opposed to looking like art or computer generated images.

6th - - I thought this photo was more 'art-like' but I still gave it a 10. Very creative, had some rough edges and more scary then Sci-Fi to me.

7th - - Very futuristic. I thought it would come in 4th. Another 10 for me.

9th - - Very amazing but again, it was more 'scary' the 'Sci-Fi' to me.

20th - - Another amazing job and very futuristic to me. I thought it would come in 5th place.

42nd - - What?!?!?! To me, it had a lot of alienism with just an ever so slight touch of horror. I thought it was well done and the expression on his face that showed concern. I thought it would finish in 7th.

23rd - - Highly underrated to me. Clean and perfect. I had thought it would finish 8th.

26th - - How can you get more 'Sci-Fi' then the movie 'Signs'! I thought it would come in 9th.

4th - - I gave it an 8. While I thought it was a stunning image with great use of the expert rules, I just felt it wasn't Sci-Fi to me. It looked more religious.

Under rated to me:

I figured 21st
I figured 22nd
TOTALLY UNDERRATED!
Ditto!

22nd - - I thought it was a great idea but just a little rough or not smooth looking. Color were strange. Maybe that was the point?

32nd - - Not to tick anybody off, but I thought this was rated way to high. To me, it looked like a total copy & paste without any blending or depth. The lighting was wrong to me. It was funny to me though.

43rd - - Another one that looked very off to me. To 'Toy-ish'.

44th - - Mine. I didn't get any negative comments but I don't think anybody did: that was way cool! Someone suggested that the colors could be adjusted. Maybe? The robot to me is very smooth, there are no rough edges and the foreground/background look like an everyday scene. To me, it looks realistic like our everyday lives. No copy & paste look either.

Anyway, I've never posted any comments like this and maybe I shouldn't have. I hope I didn't step on anybodies toes or offended anybody...
