Hello everyone.

We are redesigning our website. The development company has suggested the following look.
Would you please tell me what you think?
I will very much appreciate all feed back.

What do you think?

I really like the theme running throughout the site.

Employment section has some areas that need some attention.
1. 'Satisfaction and professional deliverables' doesn't make sence to me.
2. Take the s off of trainings.

The intropage is very annoying. People want to get right to the information.

I didn't really mind the intro page in this case (although I do find most splash pages generally useless). Given the nature of the site, giving a taste of the product isn't really a bad thing in this case, I don't think.

My only issue with the splash page is the way that it doesn't aesthetically tie to the inside pages at all. In fact, it really, really contrasts with it. Going from all black to a strong green scheme seemed too harsh to my eyes. I'd lighten up the splash page, probably using white as the background with more green imagery so that it provides a more smooth transition from the intro to the main page.

My 2 complants ares the size of the actual page, I have a 24" monitor and it is small. I like the page to resize itself to the monitor size.

Also under Gallery it says comming soon.. should be coming.

I also am not fond of the flash opening, you should have the option to skip it.

Besides that the page is ok. I would think that a company that has that much talent and creativity would want a site that really shows that off. Maybe a character walking about the screen, even one that points to the choices on the menu bars. Just a few ideas off the top of my head

Both times I went to your site I got a Windows message asking me to install a language service pack -- that's just weird and makes me not trust the site.

The splash page is brief, so I didn't mind it too much. My complaint about it is that for an animation site, the flash seemed sort of pixelated (e.g., jaggies on the logo curve and fuzzy lettering). Not a strong advertisement for your services!

Intro page adds no value as a user
If there was some value proposition on it, then just maybe ok.

Animation gives you the opportunity for awesome...animation. The site is too elementary. A creative organisation could do with a more creative / visual site, as that is what they do!

Look at their competitor Pixar. You get the picture!

Please keep them coming. This is real good genuine criticism there. Very helpful Thanks

Looks good.

Header for page Services > Television Industry Solutions, reads "Special Services". Slightly confusing since I've just browsed Services > Special Services, above that in the menu.

When I click the link for more details (Television Industry Solutions/Special Services??), I'm presented with dynamicscreen.tv's logo. No information, no menu, nothing to see but a pretty picture. When I hit the back button, I have to sit through your site's intro again and get taken to the home page rather than the one I was viewing. Annoying, but that's flash for you. Can you amend so that external links will open in a new window?

Other than that, just what has already been posted here.

Kill the splash page.

I like the colour scheme, and think that as long as the pages themselves get some interesting content, the website will show enough creativity and style.

I found the constant shifting and flickering of the animation bar to be a real distraction, especially the random strobe light effects. I mean, it looks cool(ish), but at some point the focus has to be on the content of your site too.

The splash was particularly odd because it's a completely different colour set from the web page. At least if you're going to bug people by making them sit through one of those, make it really interesting/cool (and give the option to skip it, for all those people who see your website more then once); if it's just your name, then why bother -- I mean, they just typed in / somehow found your url anyway. (-:

A couple of people have mentioned details with the written content, and I'd agree that it needs work.

"Our range of services doesn't stop at doing the job only, but we also offer other services such as Script writing, and Production management as well as consultation for the different aspects of the production life-cycle and related matters."

Doesn't stop, only, but also, other, as well as, all in the same (run-on) sentence. It sounds a bit like a used care sales pitch -- too much obvious pitching and too little content.

Anyway, I think it's actually a really good looking site, other than the few details that are fairly easily solved. (-:

Note that even though Pixar is an animation company, the main screen is totally NON-ANIMATED. Save the animation for demonstrations and short films. Motion while you're trying to read is just annoying. Although, I think the little "swoosh" that happens when you go to a new page is pretty cool. I'm good with leaving it in.

The animation of the intro is very good but maybe not suiting to the theme of the site.
I like the colors and the theme, but I think a more animation specially designed for the site would better enhance the whole site.
For a company this powerful it feels to me that the site is not 100% adequate.
Good Luck

* get rid of the splash page, or PLEASE give us an option to skip it.
In my eyes, splash pages are (usually) as useful and wanted as the FBI warning on my DVDs.

* I feel the blinks in the header animation on the page itself is quite annoying too. it might draw the attention away from the content (which I'm sure will come later)
edit: I had the window open a while. It feels less annoying now, so I'm not so sure anymore. Consider it. Anyone want to comment?

* Services menu: If you plan on adding content such as video or picture examples, they're fine. If you're not going to have much more than a paragraph or two on each item, I suggest combining them on one single page.
The repeated clicking to see what really is just a list of your services didn't appeal to me.

* the client list should perhaps have links to your clients (where possible). This isn't critical, of course.

* regarding the menu: (disclaimer: I'm no coder or designer, so if things aren't possible, just ignore me.)
If the menu requires me to click to open, you better let any clicks outside the menu close it (like the windows start menu does).
When your style subconsciously reminds people of one thing, they expect things to behave similarly. I did.

* personally, I would consider whether I'd need the "popup" menu. Unless you're planning to have a lot of subpages that aren't in place now, I think you could simplify it and instead let the sub-items appear inside the standard navigator menu (and displace/move the other content downwards, preferably in a swift and smooth way, such as the current "popups"). The sub-stuff naturally needs a smaller font or something to show that they are subpages.
Naturally, only one menu item should be expanded at any time (in this case, that would be either "services" or "gallery")

The extra menu size when expanded should take perhaps the height of four of the existing top-menu items to show five subitems.

Of course, this isn't critical either, just a style opinion

* The faint green swoosh when changing pages is fine, keep that :)

Hi Tareq,

Sorry, I guess I had gone to bed. The website looks good to me at this stage. The intro page, I usually don't really care for that but yours loaded very quickly, was very short and automatically switched to the main page. I realize the site is still being constructed but it looks good to me for now and flowed nicely, it was easy to navigate. Keep us posted about it.
