He, he, I like your tip from the book, cutting out yukky leaves and so on. I do that all the time. In the wild though, I don't "cut" out the leaves, I routinely clean up the area around the flower (especially dead grasses, they're murder on pictures), chase away all icky bugs, and if there are "undesirables" (yukky leaves, a dead flower) try to bend them away or get them out of the way temporarily, without destroying anything. |
Wonder if a can of that compressed air would work to clean up loose stuff?

BTW, I'm behind too on commenting - so many pictures! Love it, but it is a daunting task to comment on all. |

Kind of a weedy looking flower but it's interesting. I'm more pleased with the background effect on this one.
