I was waiting for sunny day to experiment my new camera in optimal conditions. I am still waiting… Here are anyway a few shots from the f828 with some details enlarged for the benchmarking freaks.

It is true that these 8 mb pictures are not twice as sharp as my 4 mb f100 Minolta but they are still noticeably much sharper and the color rendering (in Real Color mode) is far more pleasing to me (Normal Color mode is truly useless). The reaction time of the camera is very fast and the video function is great ad makes it a unique multimedia tool.

Waiting to have more creative time with this camera when the weather gets a bit more decent.

Works in B&W as well. Many thanks to my favorite volunter model Vincent.

Very nice shots. Was any Post Processing done to these images? If not they are very good.

The portrait had some work done on, the two others, just a slight light/contrast ajustment

I'm looking forward to seeing your work with this camera :)

Also want to see more. The flexibility of the 828 is what attracts me. It has more than the 717 in that regard. But it will be a while before I decide, so I will have plenty of time to see the 828 inaction. Good luck with the new cam Jean-Jacques.

Hello there

Very crisp photos and the colors appear to be right on. We own a black Lab and I know how the brown shows especially in the winter. Great portrait of the Lab. Looking forward to more shots.

Anyone in the UK got hold of a F828 yet? Can't find anyone with them in stock.
