Something seems askew with voting thus far, based on responses here and my 4 vote 3.75 score (I've never started below 5 and have never at any time been below a 4.5). Crazy. My shot is technically sound and a true macro (shot with 150mm f/2.8 macro at less than 1 foot; not cropped from a wider shot). ugh.

"Take a macro photo of something, and try to stump the viewer as to what it actually is. Your title should NOT identify or even hint at what the object is, but you should include a description of your object in the photographer details field."
2 comments with no guesses. Just guess what it is, not criticize until you can figure out what we have shot. Geeeeee whizzzz what a bunch of trolls.

On my way up slowly. Still my lowest score yet. Did people forget that the challenge was Puzzle Macro. A comment to guess at what it is would take two seconds and 20 seconds if your on Broadband in Australia.

I must admit it annoys me when people don`t pay attention to the challenge title. I have taken a macro of something under the guidline "to stump viewers". I had one comment of ???? and another of OOF looks like you photographed a towel? !!! I cannot seem to get good votes for anything which really demoralises me. If I don`t like a photo I don`t vote low I rate it against my own and vote accordingly. I seldom if ever give pathetic comments. I want to get better at creative photography not throw my camera into the canal.
