I have a sony viao, I upgraded the ram to 2 gigs installed lightroom 1.1 and photoshop cs2. I dont have any problem with editing it's a pretty fast computer.

I also have a new Sony Viao, 17" wide screen 1440x900 and it's great and fast for both photo and video processing. The capabilities between desktop and high end laptops are starting to blur on performance and screen quality.
