Don’t know what I did…but I did it. I signed up for the Dallas competition next Wednesday at 8:00 PM. I hope I don’t make too big of a fool out of myself.

| that sounds like it will be a lot of fun ... for both the participants and audience ... too bad I'm not in Dallas or I'd go shoot that event! |

| I can so see you doing that, and doing it very well! Make sure someone does indeed document the event and share the pics with us! Cell phone will be fine if that's what it takes. |

| I'm thinking of doing the solo from My Sharona...any other suggestions. I want to do something that 10 other people will do that night. I asked them what were some bands to stay away from they said AC/DC and Metallic. |

Let me think for a minute but of course the first thought that comes to mind for the solo is Eruption.

You Really Got Me (the Van Halen version) is a classic for air guitar contest. Kiss Rock n Roll All Night comes to mind also.

There is a instrumental piece that Frank Zappa did called "Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" It is an amazing solo with a ton of feel and the first note is a string bend that goes on for like 4 measures. It rocks so much.

i was refering to the order they play on the album.
Billy Idol has a couple of songs Prince Purple Rain i have seen done a few times.
Many Many classic Guitar tunes that you could do.

| There are some amazing guitar solos off the first Vinnie Vincent Invasion album, relatively obscure and totally self-indulgent. I think they'd be perfect for air guitar. |

I will document the entire event so don't worry.
My wife will take video which I am sure Clint will
put on his myspace page. I will put up a gallery
at my Pbase. You can view it HERE. I'll post the gallery on Thursday.

| I just did a phone interview with a guy from the Dallas Morning News. This is getting crazy. It also looks like I will be shooting my interview for the News at 11:30 tomorrow morning. If I win tomorrow night I will be going to New York for the US Finals. |
