I got some money, a clock and some candy along with a few other little things...It doesn't take much to make me happy...so what did other people get? Did you get what you wanted..or needed??

My husband got me the new computer that I needed sooo desperately, my old one was a dinosaur and not only would it lock up all the time but I was running out of hard drive space and couldn't even load pictures half the time, now I am good to go! I also got a dishwasher which is a dream come true, I have never had one before and I am loving every minute of it, now the time that I am saving by not having to wash dishes by hand can be spent on my new computer hanging out at DPC! :-)

I got 2 pair of nice earrings, soup cups, gift certificates for Wendy's and Subway Household items, little things from Santa workshop at school from Grandchildren. Didn't have anything special that I wanted this year. Don't take much to make me happy either

The nicest thing that I got for Xmas is everyone saying that I can take back what they got me and exchange them for cash. I know that this sounds kind of wrong, but everyone knows that I want a new camera so bad I can taste it. All the presents I'm taking back were bought before everyone knew this and they all volunteered that they wouldn't mind!

Santa brought me a nice big flash and a new camera bag. Then I got the little "Only Mommy Could Love Gifts", you know the homemade candy dish made at school and painted fushia with glitter sprinkled on it and thedarling little angel ornament made from his feet and hands and a photo of him for the face. That was my Christmas.

Nothing from my hubby or kids and despite telling the other relatives NO GIFTS FOR THE ADULTS THIS YEAR I got some gift cards and earrings (I never wear jewelry except for my wedding ring) and a cracker and chocolate gift basket.

What I wanted was 24 hours of solitude, no kids, no animals, no phone but alas it was not meant to be.

But watching my kids this year was one of the best times yet: Christmas 2003

Sweaters, money, cleaning stuff for my camera, lottery tickets, gift certificates from Old Navy, Black's Photography and Henry's. Got $325 worth of GC from Henry's Camera which I'm gonna use for graduated ND filter, a bigger polarizer, maybe a Omni Bounce (I saw the discussion on another thread).

I received my camera from my wife (but it wasn't on Xmas day, it was in advance).
Thanks to that, I'm browsing this site now.
I can't be happier.
And then, when I thought I couldn't get anything else, my wife gave me the sword of Gandalf the Wizard (Lord of the Rings). Now is on the wall of my office, together with the sword of Merlin the Wizard. (Yes, I have something with wizards).
From the family we got Home Depot Gift Certificates (they knew we want to remodel our kid's bathroom)

I gave:
- my wife an Olympus Digital Stylus 400, since I drowned the Kodak 3900 last summer with a cup of sweet tea (this one's "weather-proof")
- my employees and my children each a 64 MB jump drive (if you don't know what this is, check it out - could be handy for the typical digital photog!)

I received:
- an Orvis vest that will work very nicely when I don't want to carry my camera bag
- book - "Understanding Exposure" Peterson
- book - "The Photoshop Elements Book for Digital Photographers" Kelby
- book - "Mastering Digital Printing: The Photographer's and Artist's Guide to High-Quality Digital Output" Johnson
- DVD's, CD's, clothes, books, candy, etc.
