Lots of new photos of my daughter. She graduates in a couple of weeks and wanted her "senior pictures" done. We just went out and had fun! :-)

Wow! Those are great! Alot of my friends spent a ton of money taking pics like those when we graduated. She's got great photos at the perfect price!

They are beautiful pictures! I wanted to do the same thing with my sister for her last year but I don't think they would turn out anywhere near as good. Awesome pics!

I *love* the old wood they have on the buildings around there. They make such great colors and textures. :-)

Muito obrigado! :-)

Just more examples of exposing for the background and using off-camera flash (a 420EX behind a shoot-thru umbrella) in E-TTL mode to light the subject.

To be honest, I have no idea what "senior portraits" should look like... whether they should be more serious or whatnot. So we just went out and had fun.

Thanks! :-)

WOW you really do some good work. Although they look like they took a similar processing transformation, did you individually process them separate or did you use a action to apply certain steps to all the images then touch up from there?

You and your daughter both did a great job David!

Does anyone else think your daughter looks like cindidnic?

Great shots David!

Hi ya David, well done. All are great. If I had to chose on eit would be the red dress with the dress spinning and her hair flying. They're all great, she must be a real heart breaker ;)

I have a "default setting" in Lightroom that I use. The majority of these are straight out of Lightroom with minimal tweaks beyond my defaults. A few of them have already been edited, but only because my daughter wanted some 4x6's done. Since they were 4x6s, I didn't spend much time editing other than to clean up some of her mascara that had flaked. But I did adjust the lighting just a bit on a couple of those that I edited (mostly dodge and burn kind of stuff).

If you see anything specific that you want to know more about, I can look it up to see what I did.

I love the red flying dress one myself. I got home from the photo shoot and had just enough time to convert that image from raw to jpeg with about two minutes to spare before the "Selective Desaturation" challenge was to begin. I had actually started the process of editing it when I decided I just wasn't going to have enough time to "finish it right", so I abandoned the effort.

Taken as a whole, the walking series is a lot of fun and different from the norm. Wonderful photos overall.
