Cropping makes all the difference in the world...I entered this picture into the Soft Focus challenge a while back, but my rating wasn't as good as it could has been.



If I would have just cropped it like this, I'm sure the ending results would have been much more positive.



Does anyone else have a picture they thought would have rated much higher if they would have just cropped it?

Makes a big difference

My recrop (thanks to Jutilda's great comment!)
I am quite sure it would have done far far better

Cropping your picture made a HUGE difference, pccjrose! cropping out that dark spot to the right really brought out the bokeh part of the image.

Cropping works for that shot, because the g-string kills the shot. It draws too much attention to itself.

I wouldnt mind seeing this cropped with the G-string showing if maybe she had been sitting on something flat/straight. The first thing I noticed was the heels digging into the behind.....be curious as to what it would look like cropped to look like she had been sitting on something flat.
