I'm so happy that I carefully read the challenge description and then looked up the words "surrounding" and "grayscale." Obviously, based on all of my comments, the voters cannot see the single pixel of grayscale that took me hours to painstakingly place in the dead center of my photo. ::Peers at photo:: Damn! I can't even see it!

Oh wow... feelin good! Moved from a 5.1 to 5.4!!! lol.

Crap! I knew it was too good to be true. Looked right after posting and saw the dreaded 5.3900!!!! lol.

I'm scoring low too, right now at 5.1 and it's not a bad image. I do admit voting is a little boring in this challenge. how many out of focus images can you look at?

sorry for your score, I don't know your photo but if there is a single grayscale pixel in your photo, we don't must to learn the english but to buy a super/iper/mega/fantastivc lens for voting:)

Currently at 6.28, it will jump upto 6.3, then drop down.. I think this is how it will finish, nearing the magic 100 vote mark now..

It is hard to gain traction in this challenge. I do think it's going to fall off rapidly after a few high scores. Still expect blue to be 7+

There are 556 submissions, I think that here there are only the users that cry. the good ratings are quiet :) never i have seen the blue ribbon and the top ten that put the voting in the forum the first day. now we have even the dpl and the teams are quiet! probably the private forums have other averages:)

my only comment states that my whole image should have been desaturated....which is odd because isn't this selective desaturation...I thought my selection was alright, I'm not too hot on the image, but I think it does fit the challenge. oh well better luck next time.
