Please forgive my ignorance but for the first time ever I shot some images in Raw mode and when I opened them they were just grey mottled patterns
What have I done wrong?
Do I need to open them in a different way?
Thanks for any help

I think you need a certain type of software to convert them?
*don't quote me on this*

I doubt that Elements 2 can open RAW files. Your fuji software may - read the manual.

You probably received software with your camera that allows you to convert RAW images. Photoshop Elements doesn't support conversion.

You need a RAW converter software. If you have the later version od Photoshop Elements or CS, you should have be able to open them. Elements 2 is too old to open RAW. See if the software that came with you camera has RAW conversion capabilities and install it. You may also find RAW converter freeware on the internet, download it and try it out

If it is too expensive for you to convert to newer software, don't worry. You can still adjust jpegs almost as good as a RAW image. The difference is negligible. Hope this helps
