bigfoot, yeti, sasquatch, Lock Ness monster, giant squid, any extinct animal or plant, any not discovered before animal or plant, any not ever before photgraphed place or thing on the planet. And I'd like to do them all in the present day.

I tried that from the inside, but they wouldn't let me have my camera and they kinda had the upper hand, what with the probe & all.

My luck - I would go back in time but forget my CF card or charge my batteries before my trip.

The dinosaurs are up there, along with the discovery and exploration of the new world.

I can also echo the interest in ancient rome. Ringside for a gladiatorial bout at the coliseum, anyone?

same here! dinosaurs would be awesome.

Not original as both have already been mentioned, but I would love to photograph dinosaurs and aliens!

The Big Bang was the first thing that came to mind

Journalistic: The assassination of Julius Caesar, but I think I'd be compelled to warn him and blow the opportunity

Landscape: The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, nah make it six, the pyramids have been pretty well covered

Portrait: catch Helen of Troy, without makeup of course, could be a money spinner?

Me before I got old and frumpy

My aunty has a recurring about sasquatch, or what we in Australia call a Yowie. She lives on a farm and in her dreams he is walking down hill through her paddocks to a river at the bottom of the hill. She used to go out looking for tracks when she was younger (no camera though), she's in her late seventies now and still thinks about him.

I think it would have been cool to photograph the american revolution, all the battles and the acts like the Boston Tea party, Paul Revere and the Battle of Bunker Hill.

My first two children -- there just wasn't the technology to record the events of their lives like I've enjoyed with the younger two. Things like the time they were able to spend with my grandparents who have since passed away. I have a few shots but not much.
