I just got back from the coast. I got a call on Friday night requesting my presence at the Awards Presentation for the Capricornia Art Festival 2007. The festival had a total of 13 categories, five of which enabled photographic entries. A total of 457 entries were received including entries as far abroad as England.
The quality of the work entered by all the artists was astounding with many pieces over 1.5 meters(about 5 foot) in size. Totally amazing.
I walked away with a 'Photography - Highly commended' for 'The Dart' and 'Computer Assisted Image - First Prize' of $600-00 for 'Limits'.
