yes there are lol - i am trying to comment on all of them. I am not sure if I will manage to keep up - but gonna try!

I just want to be up front that I will not be commenting on every photo this month :) That's a challenge that I am just not up for. However, I will be looking at everything, and those photos that I think I can truly help with or call to me to comment on for whatever reason I will definitely deal with.

Just wanted to be up front with that... This goes for *EVERYONE*... please don't feel "left out" if I don't comment on your photo(s) over the course of this, I implore you.

converting to B&W with adobe lightroom
this has to be the best tool to do B&W conversions.

Day 2

Wow, some really great shots you guys!! Trying to keep up with commenting but man so many!

Just a little something for everyone to consider:

During the course of this "challenge", people will be wanting to comment and learn and provide insights, and whatnot. One way that you can help with this is by making sure that you include as much relevant information on each shot as you can. It only takes a few minutes to add the data in the drop down menus, and whenever you can, tell us things like why you converted the way you did, why you shot the way you did, etc.

It's a huge help for everyone concerned, but especially for you yourself.

Day 2
I have to always post my next day's picture at night before I go to bed because I don't have time before work in the morning (NOT an a.m. person!). Then when I get to work, I try to take a few minutes and comment on everyone's awesome photos! So this is a few hours early, but it's when I'll always be posting mine. What a GREAT challenge so far!

Day 1
Am truly a novice at this, so any tips would be appreciated!

i just wanted to say that i am a novice too so when I leave comments, it is based on what does or does not pique my curiosity. Some of you have a lot more experience taking B/W photos so probably know more than I do lol. I am just enjoying looking at the pics!

Why are we posting Day 2's on day 1? Does anyone else think that we should wait until May 2nd to actually post the Day 2 pictures??? Just a thought, I don't want to step on any toes here but I just think that some of us are jumping the gun a little.
