On the Alec Baldwin question:

It's Reality vs. Make Believe. It's the same reason the rapping granny in The Wedding Singer is funny - generational anachronism.

Everyone knows the little girl was being coached just off camera. No one was being mean to her. There's nothing to rage against.

Some of the best humor out there is a bit off color. The best example that comes to mind immediately is the classic "Word Association" skit from Saturday Night Live. Inappropriate and wildly, hysterically funny.

That is a classic skit, and so is the rapping granny, but they are all adults. The only issue I have is teaching a 2 or 3 year old to cuss (very cruel and offensive). Is that make believe? Seems real to me.

You did notice that it was so inarticulate that it had to be subtitled, right? I'm betting they were telling her to say "beach". They sound very much alike coming from a two year old, and the subtitling convinces your brain to hear what you're reading. ;-)

Landlord not funny, and I'm not really a fan of Ferrell.

I liked Christopher Walken though.

Bwahahaha!!

So far many canon owners find it not funny, and nikon owners find it funny...imagine that.

You aren't the only one.

I have always prided myself in having a great sense of humour, but found this drivel rather boring. To each his own I guess.

Ray

Another unamused Canon user.

I don't know why someone would want to teach their child such language. I know it's "cute" when they pick it up by accident, but encouraging it isn't right. No wonder kids grow up to be such brats.

Guess I need to buy myself a Nikon. I saw the humor in it and did laugh, although I may not agree with children being taught to use that kind of language it was pretty funny.
