Really tight canyons on the lake. We had to use our hands to push boat forward so not to damage it.
Human Power

This one is about 136mb in size.

I won't be posting too many until I get home because of the frustratingly low wireless signal strength in this hotel. Here is one from Horseshow Bend.

That's a shame too, 'cause the Canons would have really done the scenery justice! ;-)

So show us some 5D pictures already!

Robert, you mentioned that wireless signal was low at the motel. My son Robert got an antenna gadget called "D-Link" about 3 weeks ago. It plugs into your laptop, and works as an external antenna and amp for wireless. It increased his access to signal by about 5 fold, both in strength and number of networks available. He got it for only about $ 20 on the net. There may be one in a computer or office place out there that you can get without waiting for shipping if you want to try it.
Thanks for the image post. I see that you are having a great time, and wish I could be out there too.

Nice shot. You don't identify the lens used but I suspect it is the Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X 124AF Pro DX, the same lens TheGrandWazoo used for his fine blue ribbon winner in recent Night Shot challenge.

One thing certain, it will be easy to identify what group is responsible for most of the red rock images we will be seeing in the Free Study and Triptych or possibly Symmetry and Pi challenges. ;)

Get used to it. Canon got a huge head start in digital cameras but the sleeping giant has been awakened!
