Hi all,
about 2 weeks ago, I posted my updated website.
Well, I recieved quite a few great comments and suggestions, so I decided to listen!
I've made a completely new website, and it can be found here:

Eric Limon - NEW - website

and here is a link to my *old* website (which is still up and will stay up for a while)

Eric Limon - OLD - website

PLEASE, any and ALL comments are wanted/needed!

A note about the "wedding" page with galleries:
I will be removing the slideshow that starts, and will put links to smaller slideshows with different music on the left side of the page. That just hasn't happened yet.

Thank you so much for looking!

Eric

P.S. if there are any bugs PLEASE let me know!

Looks nice, can I add one more suggestion?

On the Weddings page, I kind of think the wording "It's pretty long, but if you watch the whole thing, you'll get a good idea of my style. If you have problems viewing the slideshow, click-here" sounds kind of amatureish. Might be just me but maybe instead of saying "If you have problems...click here" just say somthing like "View Non-flash gallery" and have it hyperlinked. (edit to add...and make it very separate from the "Please kick back, relax, and enjoy this slideshow.")

Again it just might be me but you are almost telling the people that you expect there to be problems viewing it and also that they will have to weed through a lot of stuff they may not want to see just to find what they like. If they have the option to go directly to the gallery they can see what they want to see.

I do like the page and the gallery though. Well done.

edit, yes again...any chance you can have actual thumbnails instead of numbers on the manual gallery page?

No offense, but I HATE sites that don't let me turn off or turn down the music. You have no idea what it's like to suddenly have music blaring and the only way to fix is is to turn off ALL my sound. I'll listen to MY music thank you kindly.

I was actually just going to say this very same thing. Just take out that whole sentence about the length and style. I haven't had a chance to view it all yet, but very nice pictures.

I'll second that!

Force me to listen to your music, and I'm gone as quickly as I can find the button.

If you think you MUST have music, make it opt IN for those who want it.

me again...sorry...

I was just looking at a thread by skip and he linked to a website that I think fits how I was imagining your site should be like edward holland

Of course you're going to make it more your own but I love how it is a automatic slide show or you can click the thumbnails at the bottom.

The portraits gallery contains a lot of nudes in case you're not in a safe viewing location.

Bumping for more input. I added a mute button to the slideshows, and also added a thumbnail gallery.

how does it look now?

Thanks for the mute button. ;)

Now I noticed a few things this go around. (I didn't get passed the music last time. Sorry.) I'm using Firefox 2.0 for reference.
- The main page the image overflows OVER the text on the right side.
- On the About page, the text drops below your footer horizontal rule.
- Testimonials, the tables look ugly. I'd recommend horizontal rules. (Web page layouts shouldn't use tables)
- Pricing/Contact/Links there are scroll bars showing, I don't mind them if/when they are needed, but my window has about 25% wasted space below the footer and 40-50% wasted to the right.

Just my $.02. Hope it helps.

Hey _eug

I don't understand this: "The main page the image overflows OVER the text on the right side."

Thank you SO SO SO much for taking the time to look!

Visual might work better here. First My laptop's native resolution is 1400x1050 so when I have my browser open full, which is normal for me, it looks like this:

Notice along the right edge of the flash image the pieces of words? Make sense?
