Now that I have Lightroom, I'm discovering all the advantages of using metadata. So my question: Is there a way to edit the "author" field in-camera so that all of your photos bear your name, or alternatively is there a way to change the author field in all of your photos within lightroom?

1) One of the programs that came with the camera allows you to make the change and then download to your camera.

2) In lightroom, select the first photo and enter your name. Then select all photos and while in the library click sync metadata. You then get to choose which metadata to sync.

You can do it in camera for all future photos. Look in your manual on page 51.

1)Which of the canon programs would I use?
2)pg 51 in the manual covers white balance.
