I'm just curious of your favorite methods of taking a picture of yourself.

I've not done it much, but I think there needs to be a lot of patience, right?

Remote release locked open - multiple exposures so one is sure to be good.

Heh too bad you cant just throw it in Continous Autofocus (only needed for initial refocus) Set a self timer and it go into continous drive until the memory card is full!

man! I wish I could use one of those with my camera.

also a suggestion...

if you don't have one of those nifty remotes, don't try a shot that has you in a low or squating position and the camera up on a tripod, unless you like doing fifty or so power-squats. (and sorry to disappoint any guys, but I was fully clothed)

I don't think my camera has a remote release ... is there anything that I can do to get one (besides buying a new camera) or do I have to stick with its timer?

meh, Amy's got this one for the easy way, except tripods work too :p . i'm really my only model, so i've gotten pretty good at running into place. just check out your manual and see what it says about delaying the shutter time. good luck :D

Looks like you have to stick with the timer. Your camera doesn't seem to have a separate remote option you can purchase.

Anyway, on elaborate setup shots, the timer makes for some interesting outtakes. :)

On my camera, I can set the timer for anywhere from 1-30 seconds and have it take 1-10 shots after the time's up. Look for that kind of option.

I also have a flip-out LCD, which comes in very handy.

my camera has either 2 sec or 10 sec, but it has an option for the ten where it takes another pic after 8 sec more.
