i'm ready to buy the sigma 30mm 1.4 (Nikon) and can't find it anywhere...even our local camera shop. any suggestions???
anyone know when they will be readily available???

| I would suggest you mail B&H photo to find out when they will get stock. |

I've been signed up on B&H's and Adorama's notification when in stock on this and the Sigma 10-20 for almost 2 months now.
Just the F-mount is backordered for some reason.
You can occasionally find one used on the for sale boards but they go quick.

If your local shop is an authorized Sigma dealer, they should be able to order one for you. That's what my local camera dealer did, and it came in within a few days.
By the way, it's a fanstastic lens on the D200--you'll love it! |

Nope...

at least on the 30mm
They do have the 10-20 10-20 zoom
Please someone buy them so I am not tempted...

I feel your pain - I'm about ready to buy the canon 85 1.8 and went looking today for prices...no one has it in stock!

You could always buy the f/1.2 instead. There should be a few of those available :)

These guys have them in stock. They deliver in all European countries (there's an English button at the top), but I don't think they'll ship outside Europe.
Been twice at the shop itself (all my stuff is from there), very good dealer.
