so you spent a lot of time on a shot. What's a couple hours, really? And if you had fun "thinking creatively" and editing it, was the time really wasted?

challenges aren't everything, people, even though they are fun to enter. shoot for yourself, not the voters or administrators or anyone else.

Are you kidding? These people can't even figure out that you can leave a "DNMC 1" comment without actually voting 1.

You can also compromise the data at will.

Were not laughing, were preparing to burn their houses down. Who's laughing now.

When their houses are nothing but smoldering ash we will scream

April Fools... only because it was a joke and their house has vanished... sorry that its real but it was a joke.

Big difference between burning houses and a disappearing photography challenge where you can win a virtual ribbon. Did I need to point that out? I hope I was just explaining the obvious. ;o)

the challenge isn't gone, I'm betting. how can you compare a burned down house to a vanished challenge? it seems to me that everyone is taking this way too seriously.

On a SimpleMachines powered forum i run we gave another use admin status and had them delete my account. Went into the MySQL database removed that user and then did an SQL insert with a backup of my account. Worked seemlessly.

Just got bored to see what damage would be done and how fast it could be stopped. Backups are priceless these days.

I just voted and gave them all a 10....they didn't all deserve a 10 but it's April Fool's, we can do anything we want around here, right?

ditto! it's refreshing to see someone young in age have such a good sense of humor and a mature way of expressing herself.

Well it is comparable in the fact the joke was actually carried out and something is physically missing or damaged.

They spray painted a guys porsche on the show Punk'd. It was a joke. Paint was removable and houses are rebuildable!

Its okay in a future challenge entry im gonan take one of these plastic wine cups, break it and stab it into a picture related to dpc....

I am seriously considering your punishment as I speak!
