Well, I also volunteer as a DJ, so my tastes are quite ecclectic. During my shoot tonight, I've heard:

Cranberries
Enya
Leonard Cohen
Ben Folds
Delerium
Sarah McLachlan
Offspring
Ember Swift

...just a sample. There's 100's more.

Beethoven, Paganini, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Edith Piaf, Blues, Mazzy Starr, Ry Cooder, Segovia, Montoya, and many others.

I listen to ballads most of the time, jazz or Iggy Pop to work by, opera to eat or dine by, blues for romance, piano solos for creative stimulation, flamenco when the weather's hot.

I'm a rocker.

My top ten groups: The Who (by far), Warren Zevon (RIP), Led Zeppelin, U2, Huey Lewis, David Bowie, MeatLoaf, CSN&Y, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Chicago.

My favorite song of theirs (respectively): Won't Get Fooled Again, Werewolves of London, Nobody's Fault But Mine, Elevation, I Need a New Drug, Golden Years, All Revved Up With No Place To Go, For What It's Worth, And When I Die, Feelin' Stronger Every Day.

Could go on forever, but won't.

If you've got broad band then I suggest you visit SomaFM, they have some excellent streams, good quality, free and comercial-free.
