Great advice, Robert.

I sent you a PM Krisby.

I've always been reluctant to speak out, but it's VERY important that people realize that depression isn't always just negative thinking, bad habits or feeling sorry for yourself. For many, many, many years, I struggled to "Get over it," "Be tougher," and "Quit thinking negatively." Finally, I worked with a psychiatrist who was patient and worked me though a number of different medications and we finally found a "cocktail" that REALLY WORKS.

It's vital that you DO try to overcome it and do the things that Robert is suggesting, but also realize that often this IS a chemical deficiency and the right medication or combination WILL WORK. You CAN beat this, but you may need more than willpower to do it.

Hi Kristbjorg,
Honey you're not all alone after all, there are a lot of people who care about you. As for seeing the future, well none of us really can do that can we? I'm sad that you are hurting, but please take the advice of many here who have gone through this kind of pain too, and reach out to someone who can help you. God bless you sweetie, I'll be praying for you throughout the day.

PLEASE go find someone, anyone, to talk to. A real person, not just random people on a Web site. If you're in school, there's probably a counselor to help you. If not, there's probably a suicide hotline you can call.

Don't go through this alone.
